Snorkeling in Alaska, Are You Ready to Jump In

Snorkeling in Alaska? Many people would think I am crazy but I really want to do this. When I went on a cruise to Alaska, back in 1995, they had a lot of excursion but snorkeling was not one of them. I recently found this article on Snorkeling in Alaska, BRRRRR, which is now available when cruising the inside passage of Alaska. It is only a 3 hour snorkeling trip where you will put on a wetsuit, mask and snorkel and jump into the cold water.

Snorkelers can see anything from sunken docks that have become homes for various types of fish, crabs scurrying around the seabed and a rock wall with a variety of sea life attached to it. Could you imagine snorkeling in a stream full of salmon, how beautiful would that be? If there is that much to see in the streams of Alaska, imagine what it would be like to snorkel in the
ocean. I have been to Alaska twice and have seen a lot but on my next trip, I will definitely be taking a snorkeling excursion. The price is $30.00 and sells out quick so if you are planning an Alaskan cruise make sure you book your snorkeling excursion first.

About Cathy Aggelopoulos

I am a huge water lover and thanks to my dad, found myself in the ocean as early as 7 years old. I love looking at the creatures under the water, their colors, what they do and just observe them. Whenever I get a chance and there is water, you will always find me with my mask, fins and snorkel, close by.
